Koa Bathtub
Designed for and crafted for a client who had a dissatisfaction with stone. This luxury piece is crafted from Captain Cook Koa. This bathtub was ultimately created by piecing together roughly 300 pieces Koa, many of which would’ve been discarded as scrap.
River Table
A commissioned piece that came together very organically and beautifully. The two sides of this piece tell a story. They are strikingly alike and different at the same time. One side being very feminine, the other being very masculine. This table serves as an example of what we can do artistically and how our vision can be achieved though the medium we are using.
Waterfall Gate
Made out of Brazillian Cherry for a wonderful designer, Jennifer Day. With inspiration drawn from Mike Riddle’s Waterfall Wall circa 1979, the the two pukas (holes) are at face height for the clients wife and child to peek through. Every negative space on the back of the gate is a positive space on the front, so it is a reciprocal piece. It has been featured in numerous publications.
Bow Table
Polar opposite to the River Table. The Bow Table exhibits our mastery of technical process. Crafted from Ipe (Ironwood) and Koa this piece blew our clients expectations away. The use of floating technical pin tennon joinery made this project quite the challenge, but we hope you will agreed that it was more than worth the work.
